As the DIRECTOR OF DISTRIBUTION OPERATIONS, you will assume a critical role in overseeing all facets of distribution and supply chain logistics. Primary Objectives of the role

Streamline Distribution Operations: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the entire distribution process, from warehousing and inventory management to transportation and delivery, with the aim of reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and ensuring timely and accurate product shipments.
Enhance Product Quality and Safety: Establish and oversee rigorous quality control and safety protocols throughout the distribution network, ensuring that all food products meet or exceed industry standards. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to minimize product damage, spoilage, and contamination risks during transit.
Expand Distribution Footprint: Identify opportunities for geographic expansion and market penetration, including evaluating potential new distribution centers, distribution partners, and routes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute expansion plans and meet growing customer demand while maintaining high service levels.

Target Candidate Profile

Experience: 7-10 years of senior leadership experience in food distribution, with a proven track record in optimizing operations (including Final Mile), ensuring product quality and safety, and managing growth.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of food production and distribution, compliance with food safety regulations, and familiarity with distribution technologies.
Leadership Skills: Strong team management and strategic planning abilities, with a history of driving growth and implementing quality assurance protocols.
Expansion Focus: Ability to identify and seize opportunities for distribution network expansion into new markets and regions.
Analytics: Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and strategic distribution planning.
Adaptability: Agility in responding to market changes while maintaining a focus on improvement and innovation.
